Have a sustainability project idea? Want to create change on campus? Apply for funding through the Sustainability Innovation and Engagement Fund (SIEF) by February 20th, 2017!
The Sustainability Innovation and Engagement Fund (SIEF) was established in August 2013 to promote and foster a strong culture of sustainability on our campus by providing financial support to students, faculty, and staff with green ideas. Any student faculty, staff, student group, academic class, or faculty/staff and student team can propose a sustainability project. All applications are reviewed by the Student Sustainability Steering Committee, which is chaired by the SGA Secretary of Sustainability, and then passed on to the Chancellor’s Sustainability Advisory Committee (CSAC) and Budget Office for final approval. SIEF currently has just over $20,000 to fund potential projects, and we are looking forward to hearing all of your exciting, innovative sustainability ideas!
