10 US patents in consumer electronic technologies

Three decade career has spanned design engineering, advanced development, research, program management, business development, marketing and B2B/B2C business disciplines.

Following a 4 year stint in aircraft engine design at GE, moved to Bose, thereafter spawning a number of new product ideas and technologies leading to substantial revenue for Bose (Acoustimass technologies, Jewel cube speakers, Auditioner speakers, and more). After nearly a decade, left Bose to participate in two high tech start ups, including ACX – an MIT spin off focused on “smart materials” and Sonnetics, a precursor to iTunes.

Returned to Bose for a 6 year run in product management and business development, followed by marketing consulting (Catapult Thinking) and product management roles (Polycom immersive telepresence). Ultimately recruited into iRobot to define and build a world-class product management capability within the Home business unit, where revenues and margins have since greatly improved.

Spanning my career has been an affinity for breakthrough technology products, customer engagement, entrepreneurship and cross-discipline collaboration. UMass Amherst fully prepared me for an eclectic and exciting high tech career.
